View ScholarshipsThis Master of Science in Business Analytics program will prepare you to effectively analyze business data and successfully present information to inform strategic decision-making. The curriculum requires you to evaluate the value of business analytics and the ethical use of data through a Christian lens and consider bias/fairness issues when analyzing data for real-world applications.
In this program, you will focus on applied business analytics, rather than a purely data analytics focus. The five concentrations also allow you to apply analytical concepts to your chosen area of expertise.

The program will culminate in a final capstone course where you’ll work on a large analytics project in your area of expertise. Through an overview course, you’ll learn the basics of programming, coding and database applications. In your following courses, you’ll focus on how to apply these analytics skills to business decisions. Although you’ll learn about the ‘back end’ of data, this program is geared towards the ‘front end’ users of data. You’ll graduate from this program able to explain complex results and insights to move your organization forward.
This flexible program can be completed in 12 months through 8-week online courses. Although we offer courses 100% online, our courses are a collaborative classroom environment - so you can take classes no matter where you’re located, and feel connected at the same time. Plus, no GRE or GMAT are required to apply. That means that you can gain the knowledge you need even while working full-time..

Entrance requirements
- An awarded bachelor's degree from an accredited higher-education institution in a business related field
- Or a bachelor's degree in a non-business field with the BUS 5130 course, Mastering Analytics and Decision-Making
- The Business Analytics program has a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00. (Students below a 3.00 may still be reviewed for consideration.)
Admissions process for graduate school

- Reason for obtaining a graduate degree
- What are your career goals
- Why are you choosing to pursue your degree at Concordia University
- Current résumé of your education and employment experience

Accepted into the program
- An official acceptance letter will be emailed to you that will include your Student ID number
- An email from your Admissions Counselor will be sent to you with Next-Step details
- Password information will be sent separately from the Information Technology office which will provide you access to Blackboard, your Concordia email account, and your student portal
- Academic Advising Appointment: Once admitted, you may schedule to meet with your Academic & Career Advisor who will review your degree plan, discuss orientation steps, the CUW student portal, and assist with registering for classes
