Clubs, Organizations, and Opportunities
When you get involved at Concordia, you open yourself up to all kinds of possibilities: connections with fellow Concordians who share your same interests, opportunities to practice and apply what you’ve learned in the classroom, and the chance to serve others in ways that match the unique skill sets you’ve been given. And you can do all of this while having fun and making long-lasting memories!
Most of the clubs at Concordia have been chartered by the Student Government Association, which means they receive funding and are overseen by a student executive board. SGA gets its funding from the Student Government Program Fee that full-time students pay. In addition to overseeing clubs, SGA works with faculty, campus ministry, and the university’s administration to represent students in all aspects of life at CUAA and make sure the student voice is heard.
For information about SGA clubs, or if you’re interested in getting involved with SGA, contact members at SGA@shorinji-kempo.net.

Concordia’s BSU exists to provide students with insight into African American culture, practices, traditions, and to assist in the management of concerns in black community. All students and employees associated with CUAA are welcome to become a member of the BSU.
Cards4Life is a Christ-centered organization that is dedicated to educating and equipping Concordians to protect and uphold the sanctity of life. The Cards4Life Team actively supports organizations within the community and The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod that share this mission. Contact Faculty Advisor Rev. Charles Schulz to learn more.
“Live to Serve, Love to Serve” is the motto of CUAA’s CKI Club. The group, which is affiliated with the national organization, exists to develop students into responsible citizens and leaders with a lifelong commitment to service. The CKI Club collaborates with members of the Kiwanis family to develop students into positive role models, who are passionate about good citizenship and service for the betterment of all relationships.
Pick up a paddle and join the fun! The recreational club hosts table tennis tournaments throughout the semester, and the winners get to take home cash prizes.
Concordia’s Consent Awareness Rape Education Services group exists to support and educate students about abusive relationships, rape and harassment, the importance of consent, and how to be advocates. Group members are passionate about spreading awareness about the rape culture, taking steps to prevent the epidemic, advocating for survivors, and opening up conversation.
